AS Photography students
Aim: Prepare shoot proposal for the set
exam
·
Identify materials equipment
processes required for the set exam
·
Demonstrate an ability to plan
for the exam paper
Set exam dates: 19th, 21st,
26th, 28th April
My exam proposal
is: -
Shoot 1
- To shoot on location. I will attempt to capture images similar to
those of shoot 8 using long exposure and will try to create a ghostly and
unnerving atmosphere to my images which will therefore link to the work of
Alexey Titarenko.
Shoot 2 – To again, shoot on location but
this time, photograph clocks, similar to that of shoot 2. I will hopefully be
able to shoot some older looking clocks that will link well to the topic of the
passing of time.
I hope to link my two shoots together when
creating my final outcomes. At the present moment, my plan is to try and
experiment with overlaying an image of a clock onto a long exposure shot and
then decreasing the opacity to give the image a very faint clock outline in the
background. I hope to experiment with this idea, or something similar during
the exam time.
I will be working in the following
locations (maximum no = 2)
I will shoot on location for the duration
of the shooting period for the exam. I will shoot in wooded areas around the
Sawbridgeworth area and for shoot 2, I will take photos of the clocks which are
around my house.
Planning.
In order to carry out my shoots, I will
require –
My camera and a tripod.
I am planning my shoots on the following
dates/times -
