Shoot 10 - Straight Images

Shoot 10 - Straight Images

The above images were taken using long exposure. I like the outcome and feel that it looks very effective and in some cases, slightly ghostly and mysterious. I think that the images are successful and also have a fun element to them due to the bright colours which I enhanced by adapting the curves and levels using Photoshop.

The images above were created using photoshop by me using continuous shot images and overlaying them onto one another.  I felt that this looked very effective and liked the outcomes. I had to adjust the opacity of each of the laters to create the right effect and also had to experiment with the levels and curves to fully enhance and make the most of the images. I think that the swing image is very effective as it is very bright and colourful, however, I also like the two images of the children on the trampoline. I edited this image in two ways and liked both. I liked the one where they were in colour as I felt that this gave off a playful and fun feel to the image but also liked the one where the figures are selectively in black and white as I think that it gives a slightly alternative sinister and more ghostly feel to the photo which therefore could relate to one of my earlier shoots which was inspired by the work of Alexey Titarenko.

I then created a gif using photoshop. I like the outcome and think that it works well to show the passing of time.
