Shoot 1 - Straight Images
For my straight images of my first shoot, I have chosen 5 of my best images which show the flowers through the life cycle. As my first exploration of the passing of time, I felt that this idea was simplistic yet still effective. I edited my images using Photoshop and adapted the curves of many of the photographs. I like the outcome of this shoot.
For my straight images of my first shoot, I have chosen 5 of my best images which show the flowers through the life cycle. I then went further with my images and combined them in the form of a photo strip. I did this using photoshop and am pleased with the outcome. Again, I used my five previously selected images as I feel these show key points in the flowers' life cycle. I also feel that this could be thought to relate to Eadweard Muybridge as he arranges his images in a strip like fashion.
I then created a gif using the photographs of the flowers that I took. I like this as it makes the element of the passing of time clear and also shows the lifecycle of the flowers. I like how the colours in the images get darker towards the end of the gif as I feel that this helps to show the element of death and the end of the flowers life.
