Shoot 5 - Straight Images

Shoot 5 - Straight Images

I like this image as I think that the movement is shown very clearly. It looks as though the figures are trying to hold onto each other and also has a ghostly feel to it due to the glow which the figures are giving off due to the editing.

I really like this image as it is very vibrant and also shows the passing of time very well by the fact that the movement has been captured in three different frames. I like the way that the image has been captured in such a way which makes it appear as though the figure is talking to herself.

This is one of my favourite images from the shoot due to the multiple different frames which are present in the one image. I like how the body of the subject is dark due to the fact that it is not moving while the top of the body and arms are more se through and therefore give off a ghostly impression. I also like how the editing has made the background a very vibrant pink and also has given the figure a slightly white glow.

I like this image as it shows a more random movement which was done by the subject. It is similar to the one above and I like the ghostly impression which is given off by the fact that some areas of the figure are quite see through.

This is another of my favourite images from the shoot. In this image, I got the subject to jump from one side to the other and then back again. I like the outcome of this as you are able to see the figure jumping both ways which looks very effective as the two figures are overlaid over one another.

I began with three separate images and copied each layer and overlaid them over the original. I got the effect similar to that of the long exposure by adjusting the opacity of the different layers which helped me to create this effect.

I then edited my image by adjusting the curves and levels which made the image bolder, brighter and more striking. In this way, I managed to get the image to look more similar to those which I captured using the long exposure and slow shutter speed.

This image was created by three different images layered over one another. The above screenshots show how I made this image using photoshop. I like the outcome of this and feel that it is an idea that I would like to experiment with further in the future. I especially like this outcome as I feel it clearly shows the theme which is the passing of time.

  1. ensure review includes an analysis of images through the camera settings and also the ghostly colours
