Shoot 6 - Straight Images

This image was shot using the pink background. I like the image but didn't feel that the background worked so well with this image. For this reason, I converted the image to black and white to give the image a more ghostly feel. I like how in the image, you are able to see multiple versions of the same person. I created this look by getting my subject to move backwards in a zigzag line. I used the shutter speed of 6 seconds to create this image.

This image was taken using the pink background. Again, I didn't feel the image worked on the coloured background so I decided to change the image to black and white. I also edited the curves in order to make the figures stand out more and also to make the black and white bolder and more striking. I like the outcome of the image and think that it looks very effective.

This image was taken when I changed the background colour to black. I like the contrast between the figure in the white and the black background. I also like how you are able to see the faces of the subjects clearly and like how they are a little see through so you are able to see the effect that the long exposure has caused and has resulted in a slightly ghostly effect. I like how the image is still in colour as this makes the image more eye-catching as well as making the figures stand out more.

This image looks effective as it shows multiple versions of the same person. I like how you are able to see the different perspectives of the faces and like the way that the multiple tops blend into one another. I also like how the figure is a little see through as this makes the image appear to have more of a ghostly effect.

I really like this image which shows two people dancing. It looks very effective in my opinion as all the figures blend together and this clearly shows the movements of the dancing. This looks very effective against the black background as it allows the figures to stand out more. I think the fact that the image has been left in colour means that the image is more striking and eye-catching to the viewer.
