Shoot 7 - Straight Images

Shoot 7 - Straight Images

I like this image as it suggests a sort of dance movement. I also like how you are only slightly able to see the ribbon as this creates a sense of mystery and therefore makes the image more attractive and thought provoking for the viewer. I also think that the fact that there are multiple versions of the same person makes the image much more interesting.

This image was taken from the alternative landscape way. I like this image and used a 10second shutter speed to achieve it. I like the image and think that the shapes created within it gives the idea of a butterfly which looks very effective. I also like how you are able to see multiple versions of the persons face as this gives a slightly ghostly feel to the image.

This image is effective as you are able to clearly see the ribbons. I like the vibrancy of their colour and like the way that they attract the viewers attention and also in some ways, frame the figures within the image. I like the different trails that the ribbons show and also like how the image is slightly more saturated, as this fully shows the brightness of the colours.

This image is rather similar to the one above and I feel that this is effective as it shows how the persons movement links to the trail of the ribbon. I like how you are able to see many versions of the person as this makes the image interesting and eye-catching. In some ways, this reminds me of shoot 3, where I explored the trails of colour and how they diffused in the water.

This is my favourite image from the shoot. I like the way that each version of the person seems to show a different emotion as this could portray how people change throughout time. I also like the use of the different coloured ribbon as this adds interest to the image. OI also like how the person is positioned to the left hand side as this makes the image appear original and slightly different to many others.
